Call for Tutorials and Workshops

CARMA 2026 Conference
July 1 – 3, 2026 · Valencia, Spain

We are pleased to announce that the 8th International Conference on Advanced Research Methods and Analytics (CARMA 2026) is now accepting proposals for tutorials and workshops. CARMA 2026 will be held from July 1 to 3, 2026, in Valencia, Spain, and we welcome contributions that align with the conference’s focus on AI, Internet Data and Computational Methods in economics and social sciences.

Tutorials and Workshops Overview

Tutorials and workshops are an integral part of the CARMA experience, providing attendees with opportunities to engage in in-depth discussions, hands-on activities, and interactive sessions on various topics within the conference’s scope. We invite proposals for both tutorials and workshops.

Tutorials

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Objective: To provide intensive, instructive sessions focused on specific topics, techniques, methodologies, or software relevant to the conference theme.
  • Audience: Researchers, practitioners, and students seeking to gain new skills or knowledge in a focused area.

Workshops

  • Duration: Half-day (4 hours)
  • Objective: To offer interactive forums for discussing emerging ideas, innovative approaches, and practical solutions to relevant challenges in the field.
  • Audience: Open to all conference attendees, catering to both beginners and experts in the field.

Submission Guidelines

  • Title: Clearly state the title of the tutorial or workshop.
  • Abstract: Provide a brief summary (up to 250 words) describing the content and objectives.
  • Detailed Outline: Include a comprehensive outline of the topics to be covered, along with the time allocated for each.
  • Presenter(s) Information: Provide the name(s), affiliation(s), and a brief bio of the presenter(s).
  • Target Audience: Describe the intended audience and any prerequisites or required knowledge.
  • Materials Needed: List any materials or technical requirements for attendees.
  • Previous Editions: If this tutorial or workshop has been presented before, include information about its previous iterations.

Important Dates

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: 23 February 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: 8 March 2026
